Supporting Our Local Fire & EMS Companies
We’re proud to support local fire and EMS departments in preserving their own history. From time to time, we come across artifacts and memorabilia related to other departments in Mifflin County. When we do, we work to preserve those items and, whenever possible, return them to the original department — or to a successor organization that values their historical significance.

Sharing Our History with the Community
The Henderson Historical Society proudly attends local events to share and display items from our collection — as well as pieces generously loaned from private collectors. From antique firefighting equipment to historic photographs and uniforms, our displays help educate the public and inspire future generations to appreciate the rich history of fire and EMS service in our community.
